Move completed & machines re-commissioned. 

Diamond turning machines carefully moved to 5 Wedgwood Court. 

On Friday 11 July 2008 Symons Mirror Technology produced its last optic at 39 Wedgwood Way.  Over the following week machines were de-commissioned & equipment carefully packed into crates in preparation for our move. 

The machines and equipment have been moved on 'air ride' trucks to minimise any vibration to sensitive electronic and mechanical systems. This all took place as planned on 17 & 18 July.

Managing Director Roger Winger said 'I must admit I had some concerns when I saw our robotic cleaning machine being 'posted' through a first floor window! The move has gone very well and I am particularly pleased that we have been able to commence manufacture again so soon after moving in. This is the result of careful planning and hard work by all our staff and engineers.'
